Dr. Conrad Kornmann recently celebrated practicing veterinary medicine for 20 years! He is originally from Vancouver, Washington and grew up taking care of dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, cows and horses. It`s worth mentioning that the critters also took care of him. It may have influenced his decision to later pursue veterinary medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at Clark College in Vancouver and the University of Washington, then attended veterinary school at WSU, graduating in 2003. Numerous classmates practice veterinary medicine in Seattle and we are a happy family of sorts! Dr. Kornmann has always been fascinated and inspired by the roles animals play in our lives. He firmly believes in the value of curiosity and continuous introspection and improvement. Gastrointestinal disease currently holds particular interest.
In his spare time, Conrad likes to spend time with family and spend as much time outside as possible. A recreational jack-of-all-trades with a preference for trips that frequently worry or annoy family and friends with respect to bike riding and racing, backcountry skiing, fly fishing and river running. Closer to home, Conrad is a committed bike commuter and likes books, records, gardening, and creative pickling.
