Jenny (she/her)

Jenny comes to us with over 15 years of experience in the veterinary field, having worked in both emergency rooms and daytime practices as both assistant and receptionist. She earned her bachelor's degree from Humboldt State University (now known as Cal Poly Humboldt) in History in 2003, and after that quickly began working in Veterinary medicine where she fell in love with the exciting and diverse field. A California Redwood coast native, Jenny moved to Seattle in 2009 and began working overnights at a local emergency vet. While there, Jenny worked hard to earn her master's in Library & Information Science at University of Washington (UW) in 2019. Jenny now works full-time as a Library Supervisor for UW, and you will see her here with us staffing our client services area in the mornings.

Jenny lives in Lynnwood with her partner Arthur, has one biological son and two stepsons, and one cat named Tasty who thinks he is the boss of the house! Aside from her educational pursuits, work, and family, Jenny is a movie buff, hard-core Stargate and Star Trek fan, and enjoys road trips down 101. Celebrating neurodiversity and embracing one's most authentic self are among her most firmly held beliefs.
